Digital Library Integrated Video Conferencing
MediaCAST's desktop video conferencing module, Live Presenter, combines interactive communication and media from your digital library to create the complete visual instruction solution. Live Presenter allows you to view participants, play digital library content and share your desktop. Sessions can be recorded and archived in the digital library for on-demand access.
Live Presenter comes equipped with two modes Presentation Mode and Video conference Mode. Presentation Mode allows instructors to easily broadcast, capture and archive presentations and lessons. Students can then access these recorded sessions from anywhere with internet access. Teachers can pre-record lessons for substitutes to play in their absence. Video Conference Mode enables full visual and audio collaboration. Ask a question, text chat, instructor private messaging and participant A/V control give students a variety of methods for interaction and provides session control tools for instructors.
