SecureCARE technical and user support

Every MediaCAST system comes with SecureCARE which includes unlimited toll-free technical phone, email and Web support. Our technical staff, with your permission, can also log into your system to provide remote technical assistance and automatic system diagnostics reporting. Unlimited phone, email and Web assistance for designated contact personnel is part of your support package to answer the “How do I?” type questions.  Additional years of SecureCARE, beyond those included in the initial purchase price, are available at a marginal cost annually.

Software Assurance version upgrades, maintenance and new releases

Every MediaCAST system includes our Software Assurance maintenance and upgrade program.  Software Assurance will ensure that your system has all the latest features, version releases, upgrades and updates.  Software Assurance includes upgrades on all MediaCAST software and the modules purchased with the system during the term of the Software Assurance purchase.  Third-party software and/or hardware required to support upgrades and installation services are not included in the Software Assurance fee. Additional years of Software Assurance, beyond those included in the initial purchase, are available for a marginal fee calculated as a percentage of the software license cost.

Standard warranty

The core hardware components include 3 years of next-business-day, on-site service warranty covering parts and labor.  Clients will be assigned an Inventive Technology contact and one of our local partners to coordinate and assist with troubleshooting of hardware-related issues to ensure quick resolution of any warranty-related problems.

Peripheral and 3rd party hardware components included within a solution are covered by a minimum of a one-year manufacturer’s warranty covering parts and labor. This warranty covers the cost to repair or replace, at the manufacturer’s discretion, items with defects in materials and workmanship, that affect proper operation. Warranty does not cover malfunctions that arise out of abuse, from normal wear and tear or from use beyond the normal intended purpose.  Clients may arrange to ship an item to Inventive Technology, or based on policy directly to the manufacturer, to receive warranty service.

Extended warranty

Up to 5 years of extended warranty can be purchased for the main system hardware.  Several options are available, including next-business-day, on-site, 24-hour response and premium 4-hour response for mission-critical deployments.  Please contact us for details - 800 474-5128.
