SportsCAST—wireless, live IP broadcasting of any event

SportsCAST provides a portable, wireless solution for the remote, live broadcasting of events.  SportsCAST consists of a hard shell backpack and a ruggedized encoder/laptop that accepts Firewire, S-video and composite video from virtually any camera.  The high-powered 802.11 wireless kit allows SportsCAST to communicate with a base station and the extended-life battery allows 4-6 hours of wireless broadcasting.

SportsCAST stores and streams your events using Media Appliances that are installed locally on your MediaCAST system, or hosted at our data center.  Media Appliances can store thousands of hours of DVD-quality video and stream it to thousands of concurrent users. You need adequate Internet bandwidth for a successful user experience. Specific bandwidth requirements depend on the quality level offered and the number of simultaneous streams required.  MediaCAST Express hosted bandwidth can support your wireless broadcasting initiatives.
